No Work - No Pay - Congress!

Some in the U.S. Congress are not there to work by representing their constituents - they are there to represent themselves and get rich by pandering to lobbyists and other special interests. So it will be very interesting to know of those elected persons who are not in favor of such a proposed bill. Their opposition will certainly identify the ones who are not in Congress to work for the people.

Lottery Winners Getting Food Stamps!

What is wrong with the system? How can lottery winners receiving millions of dollars still be receiving food stamps! For instance the lady in Detroit who won $1,000,000 seems to believe its okay to still receive food stamps since "she isn't working". Well lady, you're depriving starving families out there! What a stupid and absurd response!

Face of the Dream Act

Daniela Paleaz, 18 years old, was brought to this country as a baby by her parents who overstayed their visit. She will be the North Miami Beach Senior High school's valedictorian with a grade point average of 6.7. More than 2,600 students, teachers, and even the district superientendant demonstrated in support of her remaining in the United States. Congress members from the district also took up her cause. Daniela's petition to remain in the U.S. was deferred for two years. Daniela was fortunate to gain the support of thousands of people to stall her immediate deportation. However what about the thousands of other children whose deportation status are not considered?

Staff Cuts Made By Six Figure Income Consultants

Over a thousand positions will be cut at Jackson Memorial Hospital, Miami. This is just a continuation of the employee cuts that began since last year. But, while employees are laid off, it is quite ironic that the consultants in charge of making this decision are making six figure incomes! Wouldn't their lavish incomes better serve the many nurses that are expected to be included in the layoffs?

Limbaugh is Out of Control

Rush Limbaugh's so called apology to Sandra Fluke for calling her a "slut" is a joke as he is just saving face. Guess he didn't think he would get so much heat over his insulting comment. How can he go so low as to defame this young law student's opinions when he doesn't even know her! He is simply a nasty minded man who cannot control his big mouth!

Cheap Gas Prices in the U.S.

Gas prices are going up in the United States. But, overall, gas prices are still considerably low in comparison to numerous countries all over the world! In those countries, people have been suffering from unbearable, continuous gas price increases for years without complaining. If these people can't afford the gas prices, then they try to conserve by buying small or economy vehicles that burn less gas. So, the answer is simple - don't buy these gas guzzlers if you can't afford to fill the tank with gas.

Karma Never Fails

How can a man at 43 years old die of natural causes??!! Am I missing something?? Wasn't he, Andrew Breitbart, the one who fraudently cut and pasted Shirley Sherrod's speech and made it appear as if she was discriminating against a white farmer when in fact she was trying to help him? Isn't Breitbart the one who defamed others with no possible regard of humanity for the scrutiny and shame that would befall the targeted along with their families? Hmmmh! Karma .............it NEVER fails whenever you least expect it!
